Poseidon is a user-friendly water system that supports the creation of spectacular water features with a high focus on low polygons and stylized worlds. It can run smoothly on PC, mobile and VR devices, saving time and effort!

Poseidon is the first system to fully support generic and built-in rendering pipelines, with a variety of customizable settings. These functions can be easily turned on and off by simply switching between them.

Core function

Super easy to learn: quick start, full-featured editor and in-depth and detailed documentation.

powerful grid generation: automatically generates water grids with a variety of patterns and shapes, including tiled planes, areas, splines and custom grids, which means it can scale freely, from open waters and lakes to meandering rivers and streams.

various lighting settings: it works with specular PBR lighting to achieve the highest fidelity, while providing Feng’s lighting and Lambert lighting modes to achieve the best performance on mobile devices without sacrificing too much quality. (Lambert / Feng lighting mode only supports URP)

Fresnel: a realistic reflection / refraction hybrid model based on viewing angle.

ripple: the movement of water brings your scene to life.

waves: isn’t it great to have a sparkling summer beach in the sun?

light absorption: light is absorbed as it goes deep into the water.

foam: highlights the intersection of water and other geometry as well as between peaks, rivers, and waterfalls.

plane reflection: a spectacular view of mountains and sky reflected on the surface of the water.

refraction: learn about the rich and colorful life under water.

caustics: shocking scattering effect without any projector.

underwater and wet mirror camera effects: create the feeling of entering and leaving the body of water.

supports VR: most of the effects can be rendered well on VR. Only single-channel instantiated stereo rendering is supported. Tested on Oculus Rift S. Please refer to the VR checklist for details.
